The Immigrant and Refugee Appellate Center, LLC (IRAC) is located in Alexandria, VA. It is a law practice focused on appellate work on behalf of aliens, before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and the federal courts. In addition to its for-profit work, IRAC has year-round openings for law student interns and externs who wish to develop their appellate skills. Students receive substantive assignments applying research, writing, and analytical skills.

IRAC provides same day filing services at the BIA for out of area attorneys and accredited representatives. DHS attorneys enjoy this advantage by faxing materials to the DHS office for appellate counsel close to the BIA Clerk's Office. IRAC keeps its same day filing fees reasonable.

IRAC also collects BIA index decisions and noteworthy unpublished daily decisions. It is cataloging them by subject matter, and plans to make them available in an on-line subscription library.
