IRAC Releases July 2016 Update to Index of Unpublished BIA Decisions

The Immigrant & Refugee Appellate Center, LLC, is pleased to release the most recent update to the 2016 edition of the Index of Unpublished BIA Decisions, which now contains decisions issued through June 9, 2016.

Among other newly added cases, the Index now contains decisions:

• Requiring an immigration judge to consider whether to admit a B1/B2 nonimmigrant whose visa was cancelled by DHS

• Holding that shoplifting under Ariz. Rev. Stat. 13-1805 not a crime involving moral turpitude

• Rescinding an in absentia order and administratively closing proceedings following the grant of a DACA application

• Holding that an immigration judge should not have considered the statement of a former spouse not subject to cross-examination in determining whether a prior marriage was bona fide
